Hand cut mirror strips can be cut using double wheel mosaic cutters into much smaller pieces.
 
Top tip: cut the strips in to 4-6mm pieces- creating 15-25 individual pieces. These are great for creating flow and movement in the mosaic.
You can then cut each each 4-6mm pieces into 3, 4 or even 5 creating between 45 and 250 tiny pieces of mirror to add sparkle and catch light.
 
The mirror is 4mm, so a very similar depth of most mosaic tiles.

approx 1.5cm x 10cm (pack of 10 pieces)
approx 2cm x 10cm (pack of 8 pieces)
 
Sizes are approximate as all are cut by hand.
