Workshop Description
**NEW GUILDFORD VENUE** Special Introductory Offer £45 Wed 6th Aug, 1.30-4.00 Introduction to mosaics- Create a shimmering mini Art Shard for the garden. Mini Shard: approx 30cm x 10cm A short, introductory course, where you will learn some basics and maybe catch the Mosaic Bug! You will have the opportunity to design and make a unique piece of mosaic art for the garden full of colour, texture and shimmer. ALL materials, tools and equipment included. A range of coloured and textured materials will be available for you to choose from, including pre-cut pieces. No experience necessary, help and guidance given on every aspect of the project from design, selecting a colour pallet and appropriate materials as well as 1:1 and group demonstrations throughout the workshop. All abilities welcome. Suitable for age 16+ Grouting: Your mosaic must have time to set before grouting. Your mosaic will be grouted for you after the workshop. Collection/postage: Your grouted mosaic will be ready to collect from the venue, 2 weeks after the workshop (usually sooner). Tracked postage +£10 (pay on the day) You will receive an email approx. 2 weeks before the workshop with full details. Cancellation Policy
Full payment will secure your place on a workshop. If for any reason you need to cancel, you will be offered the opportunity to transfer to another workshop (if there is space). Please give as much notice as possible, so that another student may have the opportunity to take your place. There is often a waiting list. If a replacement student is found the charges below will not apply. 26+ days- 100% refund -minus £4 admin charge 25-16 days-75% refund 15-6 days- 50% refund Less than 6 days- 0% refund Please note that venues other than Lockwood, Guildford have their own cancellation policy
